I am a Salvadoran writer, editor, journalist and scholar based in Germany.

In my work, I examine themes like migration, masculinities, feminism, history, trauma, and violence in Mexico and Central America.

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Literature (Romanistik) at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal (Germany), thanks to the scholarship of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). I earned a Master's in Hispanic-American Literature from the University of Guanajuato, Mexico (2019).

I am part of the working group “Identities and Communities” of the International Latin American Graduate Network of the University of Oxford, Red Europea de Investigaciones sobre Centroamérica (RedIsca), and Red de investigación de las literaturas de mujeres de América Central (Rilmac).

I have co-edited the book Central American Migrations in the Twenty-First Century with professors Mauricio Espinoza (University of Cincinnati), and Ignacio Sarmiento (State University of New York at Fredonia).
